Hi! On this page I’m going to lay out my vision and philosophy for the Hollywood Sandwich Party.

Here’s a video to give an idea of what we’re about and what we’ve done so far:

In a nutshell, we’re going to have a sandwich making party with amazing live music and then we’re going to take food and love to the streets.

It’s not a task, it’s not a chore, it’s not an obligation. It’s a party.

The first party will be Sunday September 29th at 3PM (https://www.facebook.com/events/509846722919883/).

To start, we intend to have a party on the last Sunday of every month.

To put it simply, Sandwich Party Sunday is about creating the world we want to live in. A world of love, passion & creativity. We can’t fight and resist our way to a better future. We have to create it.

This is a co-created celebration of love and community – community that includes EVERYONE in our neighborhood.

We infuse everything we do with a spirit of resilient love and kindness and the conviction that together, we can do anything.

We make no judgement about anyone we serve. People end up on the streets because of lack of guidance, lack of resources and trauma.

It’s not our place to judge them or how they act under these extremely difficult conditions. It’s our place to give them food and love and to commit to them that we will continue to step up our game until we can offer them deeper levels of healing and support.

We have an incredible group of talented people who have already made the decision to be a part of this. Over time we attract more and more talent and there is no limit to what we can accomplish.

We’ll make adjustments as we go. This is a co-creation and we’ll be guided by our collective inspiration.

Part of what makes this work – and a guiding principal, is that no one should ever have to overextend. Again, this is not a chore. I only ask that you offer your time and talent in a way that works for you and feels truly inspired.

My intention is to find a larger venue in Hollywood where we can have a full band. I also want for us to continue looking for new ways to raise the vibe in Hollywood and strengthen our community.

I want this to affect the culture of our neighborhood and I want for us to show the rest of the world how it’s done.
